We were skeptical about a plastic rug, but this 9' x 18' mat totally transformed our campsite, giving us a clean, dry spot to sit even after a rain shower. It rolls up easily for storage, though it takes a second to get all the sand off. The blue and white pattern looks surprisingly nice on the deck, too.
Took this on a beach trip and it handled sand and damp towels way better than a cloth blanket would. The reversible design is handy when one side gets dirty, just flip it over. Only wish it came with stakes to keep the corners down in a breeze.
The blue and white pattern looks nice on the deck, but the material felt a bit stiff underfoot compared to a standard rug. It does a decent job keeping dirt off the grass during picnics, though I wish it folded up a little smaller for storage.
