The windows actually open and close with working shutters, which my son loves for his little tea parties. Assembly took a couple hours but the planter boxes are a nice touch for pretending to garden.
My daughter practically lives in this playhouse now—she loves that it has real working doors and windows. The little planter pots were a nice surprise too, and I've already seen her pretend to water her “garden” for hours.
The planter boxes are a cute touch but they're quite small, barely holding a single flower each. Assembly took my husband and I almost three hours with the instructions being a bit confusing. It looks nice in the yard, though I wish the wood felt a little more sturdy for the price.
