The black color really makes our kitchen pop, and they were surprisingly easy to cut with a standard utility knife. We installed them over a weekend and the lightweight panels stayed put with construction adhesive.

Put these up in our kitchen backsplash area last weekend and the lightweight polyurethane made cutting them a breeze. The black stone texture gives just enough depth to make the wall pop without feeling heavy or dark.

I was a bit skeptical about polyurethane "stone," but these panels are surprisingly sturdy and the 3D texture really pops under our kitchen pendant lights. Installation was straightforward enough, though you'll definitely want a level and a sharp utility knife. Only minus is that the seams between panels can be a little visible if you're not careful with the alignment.
